After an exhilarating four nights in bustling Rome, La Pietra offered a much-needed retreat nestled in the serene hills near Arpino, Cicero’s birthplace. The clean and comfortable King Room provided a peaceful atmosphere where I enjoyed reading outdoors, surrounded by beautiful mountain views. While the dining options were limited during the off-season, I relished a good breakfast with a rotating selection of pastries and local delights. I appreciated the leisure facilities, particularly the barbecue area and the tranquil garden where I could unwind. The staff was accommodating and friendly, even allowing us to have breakfast a little late on our final day. For those seeking a blend of nature and relaxation, La Pietra is undoubtedly a cozy haven worth considering during your travels in Italy.
